Bagolac Saigon Restaurant invites you to their dining room. Come enjoy their casual ambiance. They are open late from Monday to Saturday and are readily accessible by car and public transit. You can pay by American Express, MasterCard and Visa.
Let me start off with what brings me there... the food is terrific.
I always order the Rice Vermicelli Special Bowl item # 157. Lots of food and fills me up.
Not very kid friendly, ie.. they have limited high chairs and no change table in the washroom.
Parking is horrible when it's busy. Lack of spots and the ones that are free are tiny spots for anything bigger than a civic.
Just like any other Vietnamese resataurant you don't tend to get outstanding service. Service is fine and meets expecatations.
Prices have recently gotten higher, can get similar food for cheaper elsewhere though.
Also convenient for Chinook Centre shoppers and CTrain travellers, Bagolac Saigon draws consistent crowds. Suitably casual enough for post-mall munchies, its neat polish also befits business lunch. Generous, brothy beef, seafood and sate noodle soups are the signature meal. Stir fries, steamed-rice plates and vermicelli bowls round out the mile-long Bagolac menu.
Close to Chinook Centre, Bagolac serves a uniquely engineered take on Vietnamese standard fare that is artfully presented. Dishes include vermicelli noodles topped with tiger prawns, grilled scallops, charbroiled pork and more. Also try the Saigon-style stir-fried lemongrass chicken or the hot and sour chicken and prawns soup.
