The Keg Steakhouse + Bar is the undisputed Steakhouse leader in Canada, with a presence in the United States. Founded in 1971, The Keg has a focus on high-quality steaks, and a casual yet contemporary dining experience.
The Keg’s 4th Avenue location in Calgary marks the historical spot of the caesar’s inception. And, not long after its creation, The Keg made the caesar a signature drink from coast to coast. Edmonton’s Old Strathcona Keg serves up classic caesars garnished with a lime wedge, celery stick and a spicy bean. Drink yours alongside one of their famous steaks in their hip Whyte Avenue lounge.
I have to admit, I never thought of The Keg as a place for good dessert, but when I tried the crème brulee, my reaction was: “Holy crap, this is good!” There is just something about custard that I love – maybe it’s because it’s comforting. But, even if that isn’t the case, The Keg does an excellent job at helping me sooth my wounds with their creamy, rich crème brulee. You should try it!
