Chinook Regional Hospital Alberta Health Services

Very thankful for the excellent care and attention we received in ER July 19th when my husband was having a heart attack. He was given immediate attention and informed as to what was happening to him. He was again in ER first week of January after a bad fall. While the waiting room was full, patients were admitted according to severity and again he was given the upmost in attention and care. Thank you doctors and staff at the Chinook Regional ER.

Honestly disgusted with the service. Waited two hours and only 2 people were called in, not including 3 sick children (one in wheelchair) and a man with a severed finger, as well as a man with damaged ribs and possible internal bleeding waited for hours and didn’t receive any help. While waiting multiple people gave up on waiting and the nurses had numerous pizzas delivered while I was there. Every single time the interior doors opened, multiple nurses and doctors were just standing talking.

My husband was seen in the Emergency Department with a large kidney stone that required surgical intervention by a specialist. We cannot begin to thank everyone we came in contact with on that day. Their service went above and beyond all expectations. It could not have been better if we paid a million bucks for it. We thank Dr Buck, Carter RN, the ED department, the CT tech and Radiology, Cathy, the Day Surgery department, Dr Da Silva, the anesthesiologist, and the OR.

I am so thankful for the nurses in this hospital. Each and everyone was so amazing and friendly and helpful, They really make a Difference in this world.❤️ May God Bless all of them and May all the Wonderful Nurses and Doctors keep the Great work up! I was looking for my cat beside my couch then I cut my foot sliced open be a sheet of metal and my mother took me to the hospital then got stitches it hurt like hell till the doctor numbed it then I was fine for the whole summer (during the Coronavirus Disease) -Desamate

Was hit by a drunk driver and admitted here. Nurses were rude, ignored my needs, left me in pain, and made fun of me for being in pain. (I lost 50% of my femur.) The internal med doctors were also incredibly rude. They ended up discharging me, gave me no follow up date until the day of when they called me to let me know I had missed it and I would have to remain in this wheelchair for another 2 weeks while they rescheduled. Avoid them if possible.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff in Diagnostic Radiology for their care and support making it through a Cardiolite testing procedure on June 11, 2019
