Took a month to fill my tank, the driver thought it was appropriate to urinate in my yard, lied about showing up to fill it previously by saying he was there a few days ago and the day before... I was home waiting for the truck to show up! Said he didnt know if he was supposed to fill this low-cost tank or if there was another one somewhere else? Really? Im happy Ill never use them again since I moved and now have wood heat.
100% would NEVER recommend low-cost propane.
Brian at low cost propane is Awesome!! In this day and age, many businesses simply want to take your money and send you out the door without any service. I want the public to know Brian and his staff at Low Cost Propane in Red Deer, are different. Brian has always been immediately available to answer questions and help with any concerns I had. The entire staff has been awesome to deal with from filling tanks, attaining parts, and billing in the office. Keep up the great work guys!!!
A month ago I called to get my tank filled and a week later the truck still haven’t showed up. I called and was assured he’d be here the following week. The driver called the next Tuesday and said he would fill, never showed or called. A month later I’m compliantly out, no heat, hot water or cooking stove. I called today and was assured today they would fill. The branch manager called and reassured me they where coming, guess what? No propane, phone call, never heard a word.
We have been with Lo-cost for 5 years now. When you call to have fuel delivered, they ask what your tank is at and and if they feel you have enough they just never show up..until you run out. Where they then tell you to hook up your bbq tank until they find time to make it out. So after year 4 of running out of propane in the middle of winter, and terrible customer service...we are switching to a different company. I do not recommend this service.
