I had a Co-worker suggest Manvirro's after going and loving it! The food was fantastic, the service was excellent.The Naan was super tasty! Our server was so great with recommendations and everything he recommended was perfect. We heard a guy at a table across from ours say he would have licked his plate if it was sociably acceptable, and another table raving about the food, so I was surprised to come on and see the negative review, is seems so far off from what we experienced this evening, but I guess you can't please everyone:) so far everyone I know that has gone has loved it and either ordered take out or gone back. I highly recommend trying it out for yourself....We can't wait to go back to try some other things on the menu.
A group of 11 of use thought we were going out for a nice dinner but instead we got OK food and awful service!
* When we were seated most people got a glass of water, after that it was hard to come by. Two people (including the owner) offered to bring us a pitcher of water for our table. When it didn't come and no one was refilling our glasses I asked another server for a pitch of water and was told they weren't allowed to leave a pitch on the table...so we left thirsty
* Only one of the two appetizers actually made it to the table. When the food arrived the two servers didn't know which dish was what. Because she didn't know which dish went to which person she became rude and frustrated.
* When some of the food arrived we asked for one more order of rice and the waitress rudely sighed and said 'well it will take a while!'
* To top it off one couple with a young child NEVER received their food. After waiting over 1.5 hours for the food and everyone else at the table was finished eating we approached the owner. He rudely told us to get back to our seat. When we refused to be ignored any longer he blamed the awful service on the new waitress and us! He did not take any responsibility for the poor service.
When our bill came we refused to pay full price.
That was the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced and will NEVER go back! Don't waste your time or money on this place!
Please save yourself and your pocketbook and pass this restaurant by. I was even warned but had heard one or two good things about it in the last 4 years. It was Valentines Day and they offered a limited menu, didn't tell you that when you booked. But we weren't that upset because we thought it would mean more attention could be given to each dish. Not to be....Right from the appetizer through to the entree was brutal. When the server (her first night at this place) asked how she could fix this, I could only look at her and say "You can't fix this"
We did pay our bill which was $140 and hustled out of there. The appetizer was burnt, the salad was limp and watery, the entree was not what was described on the menu and was bad. My husband had the steak and lobster-what a mistake at $48.50.
