My travel agent made an error in booking the North Country Lodge (rather than North Country Inn in another town in BC). Manager at North Country Lodge refused to refund the charge, even though I did not stay there. Yes, the error was on the part of my agent, and the lodge does have a policy regarding refunds. So, full transparency is that I am not necessarily in the right in wanting a refund per policy. However, they can choose to provide an awesome experience or not, and they chose not to.
