Great store! New in town and just attended their semi annual sale. Fantastic deals! It was busy but their staff handled it well. I will be a regular customer :)

I am a local contractor and the guys at Midland Tools always have what I need. I recently had my truck broken into and tools stolen and had to get them replaced. The pricing and selection midland had was great. I wish they had more stores on the island, only in nanaimo and courtenay.

Definitely my favorite place to buy tools. Great service and friendly staff. Very competitive pricing. They have changed a bit of their staff from the old days but still very knowledgeable. Would recommend!

Poor treatment

I am a self employed tradesman and was in the store looking for tools. I went up to the counter and introduced myself as a business owner and asked if they offered a discount to businesses. The counter person made a smart alec comment about how their business was equal opportunity and didn't give discounts to anyone which got a good laugh from the other staff that were behind the counter. I felt like a brunt of their joke and was embarrassed by their treatment of me. To treat a potential customer (who buys a lot of tools) like this is just poor business practice and will not bring me back to the store again.
