Super clean and friendly staffs with comfy spa chairs for mani and pedis...My friend and I paid for having wonderful service and inviting atmosphere was very pleased actually it was my very first visit to do main and pedi. They treated us like princesses for a day, and I walked out of there with the biggest smile on my face. Great staff. Great service. Great mani and pedi. with professional touch. Simply Amazing! Would I come back? Sure!
Yesterday was my first visit to Citrus Nail Lounge. This place seemed brand new, because I haven't seen any nail shop in New Port before. The first impression of this place was very elegant, clean, and bright. The interior was very beautiful and I really it. When I walked into the place, every single girl were greeting and welcoming me. I got both color gel manicure and regular pedicure done at this place. There were a lot of color choices almost 300? 400? and there were color palettes made with nail tips which made me easier to imagine the color on my hands. I was very happy with the color I chose, it looked really good on me. Also I was very satisfied with the cuticle care, my hands and feet are very clean right now. I used to go another nail shop, but I'm sure that Citrus nail is way better than another one. The service is great and kind, they have expert technicians and the place is very clean. I'm definitely going back to Citrus Nail and this is the best nail shop ever!
My friend and I went as walk ins and were initially thrilled to see the inviting interior and the fact that the workers opened new packages of nail care products for each of us.
But they lacked in any other customer service.
1) they offered us drinks at the beginning but never asked if we wanted more
2) they never offered us treats (which were in a huge bowl in the centre of the room)
3) the workers never really chatted with us, just got down to business and would only talk if they wanted us to swap feet or something. I don't remember the girls even introducing themselves.
4) the workers kept talking amongst themselves in their own native language
5) my husband had to stop by to pick up the house key from me and they were not welcoming at all with him (mind you he had been cycling for over 1 hour and was sweating like heck...but they couldn't hide their looks of discomfort and disgust)
On the surface the atmosphere in the place is great. But there wasn't anything else there. Would I return, probably not.
I got my nails done here yesterday. When I first walked in everything was very clean and sterile they opened a fresh package of tools right infront of me. I got a UV gel set. However my appointment managed to take them 2 and a half hours with two people working on my hands and while they were buffing my nails they managed to cut too far into my cuticle causing me to bleed. for the 80 dollars i paid my nails are not up to par the tips are not straight and there are bubbles in the gel. I wont be going back.
