Fruiticana with Singh's leadership is committed to provide customers with an ever-changing selection of the freshest produce possible, as well as a wide array of unique and speciality spices and hard to find items from far-off corners of the globe.
The prices are very reasonable for the fruits and vegetables that they sell. Sometimes you have to sort through the produce in order to get something in good condition, but it is worth it for the savings.
Horrible experience today folks! First time here after moving to Richmond. Rather unfresh produce selection- was covered in fruit flies.
Today, there was a middle-aged Man working as their Produce Clerk. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I was yelled at for sifting through some Zucchini's for dinner by this individual in front of customers?! As he was telling me how to sort through the vegetables. My husband & I were shocked and left the store. Very unprofessional service to customers.
Family was at home hungry. I googled when Fruiticana's hours and saw it was 9pm. I left my house in the pouring rain. When I drove up to the store everything in the store was dark and everything was closed. Its only 8:15pm!!!!!!! I am so angry!! The website and yelp and the rest of the internet said it was closed at 9pm. Fix this. Now. Sincerely, the lady soaking wet in the rain!!
Twenty years ago, Fruiticana opened to fill a void for Indo-Canadian grocery items in Richmond. Today, their clientele is as diverse as the products they carry. Looking for packaged rose petals? Search no more! The shelves are lined with imported spices, reasonably priced produce, canned goods, tea and super-sized bags of rice. All sorts of wonderful finds await!
