We pay tips voluntarily, isn't it? They added 18% services charge on the bill and been told by the manager that such 18% tips is mandatory. The food taste very badly.
Eat at your own risk!
The food is fair for the price. Not the best Thai I've had but probably the best you'll get in Richmond. I prefer the green curry beef. Pad Thai is average.
Nothing special for thai cuisine, but they gave generous portions. Staff seem tired, the restaurant was one quarter full when we got there for a late lunch. their special noodle dish was chok full of meats, shrimp and veggies. The peanut sauce dumpling dish was very pleasant.
So many restaurants in Richmond to choose from..this one was good but did not stand out!
I used to come here with one of my former employees and we would occupy a corner booth and I returned here to check out the scene. The secret is that while this is an Asian restaurant there arent many Asians eating here in Richmond. tai is very favorite with young women and my wife definitely doesnt like it so a little pad tai doesnt hurt. Good pad tai for $15.
