“We’ve redefined the property in a significant way,” says Nicholas Gandossi, General Manager of the OPUS Hotel, referring to the new lobby bar that he describes as a “warm, inviting space that enables intimate conversations, and has a vibrant feel that appeals to both locals and guests.” Craft cocktails in the evening, with live music on Wednesdays, plus DJs and special event nights; the bar morphs into a hip coffee bar in the morning serving Matchstick coffee, The Juice Truck cold-pressed juice and pastries from Cadeaux Bakery and Cartem's Donuterie.
Since 2002, the OPUS Hotel has appealed to both the hip business visitor and stylish vacation traveller looking for a central location in Vancouver. As a visitor to the city, save yourself the expensive taxi fare and hop on the Canada Line — it's about 20 traffic-free minutes from YVR and the Yaletown-Roundhouse Station is kitty-corner from the hotel.
Robert Bailey-designed guest rooms mean you won’t find boring beige décor; instead the place is saturated with bold colour, local art and all the amenities you could ask for.

I like how the staff accommodated us and they were very proactive in offering what we might need.
This seems to be the place where the "Beautiful People" hang out in Vancouver. The decor is amazing and while it might seem a bit intimidating at first, the staff and patrons were quite chilled and down to earth

A swank hotel lobby. The OPUS Hotel in Yaletown recently redid their lobby to include a daytime coffee bar (which turns into a nighttime lounge), perfect for impressing clients or for getting your work done in an inspiring setting. Don your power suit or your three-inch heels, order a double espresso, open your laptop and prepare to take over the business world.
