We have recently completed an Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program through the Prince Edward Island ADAPT Council on the world of Biochar and have established the Atlantic Biochar Initiative to advance further interest, knowledge and research. We are looking to begin extensive field trials over the next three growing seasons to research the effectiveness of Biochar in our temperate zone as well as its potential for carbon sequestration within the agricultural sector.
