Canada East Equipment Dealers' Association (CEEDA) was formally organized at a conference held in Toronto on December 12, 1945, under the leadership of Charles A. Cooper of Claremont, Ontario. On November 18, 1945, the Association was incorporated under the name of the Ontario Retail Farm Equipment Dealers' Association by Letter Patent.
