The Mulberry Bush is a consignment store or, as owner Jackie cheerfully explains, a place where “you bring your items to us that you want us to sell, and we sell them on your behalf.” She adds that The Mulberry Bush is better than a yard sale because “you don’t have to do any work and it won’t rain on you.” Her motto, as she explains, is: “Drop off your best, we do the rest.”
The Mulberry Bush takes all types of clothes. While they started as a children’s store, they’ve expanded to include teen, men’s and women’s items as well. It’s a one stop shop that saves you a trip to the mall, and Jackie prides herself on great prices. Carrying items such as Gymboree, Gap and Tommy Hilfiger for the little ones, The Mulberry Bush also carries American Eagle, Hollister, Bench and Lululemon, favourites among the older crowed.
The Mulberry Bush carries all the accessories you need. Jackie stocks seasonal items like skates, soccer shoes, bathing suits and dance wear. Accessories like shoes, purses, ties and belts are big sellers too, and there’s always a huge selection of toys, games, books and puzzles for all ages.
