The three Molot sisters worked together to create an innovative coffee bar with light fare and 250 international magazines. Within months the customers requested that they get a liquor license, and so they did.
Just wanted to comment on how wonderful the Bean Bar is. Not only is it vegetarian-friendly, but there is a great selection of salads, sandwiches and entrees. Would go back again and again....and I do!
I think mr. waxman should get his facts straight before making statements. I know the owners, and the details about who did (and didn't do) the renovations.
The owners here are constantly working to improve their restaurant. They have an amazing chef and a first class menu.
I am not being protective, but I cant stand it when people tell lies...
Update to earlier review: Wow! Huge improvement in decor; now it's all beautiful chocolate leather banquettes, distressed wood and chandeliers...Definitely worth a revisit if you haven't been in awhile. Alas, service is still same speed as the auto-drip on their beer tap (s...l...o...w). But don't let that put you off.
Our server had a lovely disposition, which was a welcome change! The service was prompt on this night and our party's alcoholic berverages were delivered promptly and deliciously. Kudos to you.
