Come savor a yummy meal at Plaza Restaurant. They are open nightly from Tuesday to Saturday and are conveniently reachable by car but also by public transit.
Time and time again I am never disappointed with any aspect of my dining experience. Lately I have been finding it difficult to stray from the veal dishes. The NY strip is always done right, the saganaki is.......I don’t even know how to describe it....WOW, the service is with a smile and a chat if you are in the need. Great job, keep it going!
Great food and great atmosphere but bring a flashlight to read the menu. The atmosphere is true Greek in decor but a little dark with only candles on the tables and dim lighting. Staff are great and the food unbelievably (excactly what the other comments have been) good. I agree it is very comparable to Greek town on the Danforth in Toronto.
AS BEING FROM MONTREAL A CITY FULL OF GREEK RESTAURANTS I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THE PLAZA IN KENORA ONTARIO IS DEFINITLY BY FAR THE BEST GREEK RESTAURANT I'VE EVER HAD THE EXPERIENCE OF DINING IN. THE STAFF IS PHENOMENALLY NICE. TINA & DIMITRI HAVE DONE A WONDERFUL JOB OF CARING OVER THE FAMILY BUSINESS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK . OPA!
Currently living in southern Ontario, but have yet to find a greek restaurant that matches the Plaza. I always look forward to going when I manage to get back to Kenora, and the Souvlaki and Pickeral are amazing.
Unbelievable! This was a fantastic experience. The village salad was remarkably fresh for mid-March and the staff were very accomodating of our late arrival on a Monday night. We'll be back on our next trip through Kenora!
This is a dining experince! A wonderful family restaurant that is buzzing. A warm atmosphere, with tasteful decor with plenty of gorgeous prints of Greek islands. Fresh, homemade fare with great service. This place has been around for 30 years, the Adamopoulos family passing the reigns to their children. Dimitri & Tina Adamopoulos continue the tradition from their parents Tommy & Maria. This is the only restaurant in Kenora featured in Anne Hardy's "where to eat in Canada" restaurant guide. If you are in Kenora you have to check place out. OPA.
