The owner came out to my cottage 50km north of the city and priced the cutting down and removal of three trees. Trees were down and removed according to the price and time set out in the contract. Also the site was left thoroughly cleaned up. I highly recommend this company as I found them to be affordable, timely, courteous, and professional. I will definitely use them again for future work!

terrible work ethic from the owner and the owners son who was the crew chief. They tried to cheat me but i threatened to take action. NEVER think about hiring this company.

I will not recommend ArbreCare and will never hire this company again. After having been told during estimate consultation that there would be no cost overruns on an initial tree price of $800.00 with machine, I was told by workers on the day that costs were actually determined by the pace at which they chose to cut down trees. Little wonder that they took ample breaks to run the bill up to $1200 at a rate of $200/hour. I also learned that counted time did not start with actual work, but with on

I cannot recommend this company. Be absolutley sure to get a written estimate, detailing every thing you can think of otherwise you will be charged for travel to and from their office and will be charged before it occurs for time they think they might need to take you trimming to the city disposal site.Just becasue they think they might be caught in a traffic jam. All of this at $180/hour. Oh yes, you also must pay for the time they do not work: having lunch and coffee breaks

    Thumbs Down

I would certainly not recommend this business. When I called to ask if we could get a quote regarding the cost to cut down a tree in our back yard, I was told by the owner" if I come over there and give you a quote and you don't use me, I am just spinning my wheels for nothing" As a person who has managed a large coorporation I was shocked at his rudeness-he only needed to say we don't do free estimates. Giving a quote should be part of any business practice

    tree removal-bad service

was quoted that they would come cut down the tree and within 3 days come back and remove cut wood. made mistake of paying that day. as of 3 weeks later wood still not picked up, and still have 14 feet of tree not cut down. have in writing that they would come back on receipt and verbal by gentleman that quoted, but owner refuses to honour. have heard (afterwards) that this is typical of this firm.

Customer payed an hourly rate and did not pay to have the wood picked up. No verbal contract was discussed to deal with the wood. Tree was blown over and a 10 foot stump with roots still attached. This stump could not be cut any further as stump was full of nails from a tree fort making the stump unsafe for worker and chainsaw.
