I contacted them when our Kenmore washer began vibrating and shaking a few days before we were to depart on holiday. On the initial visit , Shane diagnosed our problem to be worn shocks. He also thought the bearing was noisy. After discussing pros/cons & repair for each issue and given our holiday plans, we opted to repair the shocks. Shane’s main challenge was to source shocks given the washer age. He found replacement shocks then quoted a repair cost. We proceeded. BUT , after repair, when t
Great service. Reasonable rates. Good advice. They looked at my washing machine and came up with a good fix. Also had them advise me on my dishwasher. Good prices on new appliances
Terrible service. Just guess at problem and charge you for multiple visits for same issue. When called after "fixing" very rude service response and avoid calling back or hang up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I hope word gets around how dishonest they are.
After the gas meter was replaced, our gas clothes dryer malfunctioned. A Terry`s Appliances repair technician came this morning and found that a couple of small parts needed to be replaced, but everything else was fine. In all, cost was $224.81 for call out, labour and parts. Plus that feeling of having triumphed in a "throw away" consumerist world - priceless! The technician was very good, noting he took the job he had because he wanted to do repairing, not trying to sell appliances. Well done!
cost way to much 240 for like 30min call
One of our burners on the gas stove would not ignite but gas would still be released. We had thanksgiving dinner to prepare in a week so we called Terry's Appliance and explained the situation. They said that its a module that could cost $200 to $500 but if its the transformer, then it could be closer to $1000. We agreed for them to come and take a look at it for $60. When they came a couple of days later, right away they said, "It cant be fixed". We said, "You didn't even open it up or even turned it on to see what's wrong". He said he didn't have any KitchenAid parts but he said he would take the serial and model number and call us the next day. Next day came around with no phone calls. We called the next day and left a message; no return call. We called again a few days later and left a message and no return call. A few days after that, I finally got someone on the phone and first they got me mixed up with another customer saying that the part wasn't in yet and that they were sorry. I clarified that we were still waiting for a quote. He then said there's no replacement parts for our stove. So in other words, we payed $60 for someone to come out, take a serial number, and then say it can't be fixed without even opening or turning on the stove.
Had next day service. Techs came with parts in hand ready to work. They were very polite and kind to the curious grandkids asking hundred questions. Completed work quickly and very professionally. Would recommend and will use again for my own work.
Very please with service, good communication, same day service, fair prices. Will recommend to friends.
