Manotick Gastropub

We were at Main Street Cellar last Friday and it was a packed house! We had some items off of their Table d'Houte (a seafood Sheppard's Pie and Lamb Kefta skewers). It was really tasty and creative. The wine selection by the glass was amazing. We got to try a few different kinds. The server was great, she was very friendly and her wine and food knowledge was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Very quiet

This place is really small, not really a restaurant more of a place to go if you want a very quiet evening out for a drink. I have to agree that it's not the liveliest of spots and I'd rather go for dining somewhere else where there's more appropriate seating.

So So for an evening out with friends

Perhaps it was just the night that we went, but there was no one in the place. The service was slow considering we were the only ones there and the food was alright but I've had better meals at other Manotick establishments. We might try it again, perhaps when it picks up a bit

Too quiet to entertain

Not a great place, they boast that they have a great wine list - it's not bad but they didn't have what I wanted and the waiter was uneducated in wines. The food is mediocre and lacking in flavour and the ambience is very quiet - there was no one else in the place. Not reccommended for a fun evening out in my opinion, I prefer somewhere a little more lively.
