NAOT FOOTWEAR ARE ORTHOPEDIC. They provide removable footbeds to accomodate orthotics, extra depth in the footbed which gives relief particularly to those patients that suffer from bunions, Hallux Valgus and Hallux Rigidus support, Metatarsal and Long Arch support.
Today, I wanted to add to the first review I wrote but was unable to because I already submitted that first one and I guess only one is allowed per person (so I'm using a different email login to get in).
I had emailed to Naot and I found out from the customer rep that the older clerk's comment that my sister heard (about being sure we didn't switch the shoes) was a misunderstanding. Apparently, she believes the clerk was worried that we would have the wrong shoes in the boxes and buy the wrong ones by accident.
I will give them the benefit of the doubt. And since I liked the shoes, I may go again to buy in the future.
Yesterday, April 29th, 4 of us went to the Naot store at 5891 Leslie Street (3 adult sisters and our father). We had a good time trying on shoes and eventually bought 5 pairs among us.
Afterwards, one of my sisters told me something the older clerk said to the younger clerk. She said to check the boxes to make sure we didn't switch the shoes! I guess she was worried we would switch to more expensive shoes. She could have been more discreet and not said it so loud that one of us heard her. My sister wished she had said something. That was rude of the clerk, not to mention we would never switch shoes. Maybe she was not used to 4 of us trying shoes all at once. I did notice they seemed a little wary of us and I felt a little uncomfortable.
I won't be going back to that store again as it was offensive to all of us. It left a bad taste to the shopping trip.
