The first Candy Shoppe was opened in the spring of 1999 in the little strip mall just north of Webers Hamburgers ( and beside Tim Hortons) on hwy 11 just north of the town of Orillia, Ontario, Canada. It was a very small, narrow store space with no storage areas, so within the first 5 years, we got very tight and crowded and decided to lease an empty building almost directly across from the first store and on the southbound Hwy 11 lanes. more...
