the food that i ordered, was not tasting anything like the indo-chinese flavor. it was bland, the chicken american chopsuey had no salt, sugar. the fried rice were made of the most low quality rice. on approaching the owner/manager about the LOW QUALITY of food with respect to flavor/taste, He remarked that his restaurant was the finest, since 10 years and arguing about food is something that he wont do!............theres one thing certain his chef doesnt taste his food, neither does he maintain the kind of flavor the indo-chinese cuisine has. The quality of the restaurant is headed downhill. the owner does not show any interest about feedback from his customers.

Well I was this is my first review. My gf and I go to this place often. We are vegetarian, so I personally cannot comment on the meat dishes. However when I have taken friends there they find the chili chicken to be good, as well as the chicken pakoras.
I usually get the manchurian and chili paneer. They batter fry the paneer which I haven't seen being done anywhere else. We also get the paneer pakoras which are just as great! The asian guys that own the place actually speak an Indian dialect...which is rare for any of the Hakka places in TO. I have no idea what authentic Hakka is supposed to taste like, but that being said the food is great.
That being said, it is not a place to take someone on a first date. The "decor" is pretty antiquated...
Overall..good food...good portion sizes for the price..and definately no roaches in the jello! Take a look at that reviewer's picture and you'll see the decor is that of another restaurant :|
I went here a few days ago and I loved it. I'm vegetarian and absolutely loved the food there. I will definitely go there again, great food, great service and very reasonably priced!
