The REAL DEAL Store is a household goods, furniture, building supply and home improvement store that accepts and sells quality reusable materials and keeps them out of landfill. Funds raised through the sale of these materials support the Rideau Environmental Action League (REAL)s many other environmental projects in our community. The Rideau Environmental Action League (REAL) conducts community-wide environmental projects and promotes environmental improvements within the Town of Smiths Falls and Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Counties.     BEST THRIFT SHOP AROUND!

    My all time favorite thrift store/ salvage shop. As a cheap-o and a DIY crafter. I love the old home renovation part... essentially people who renovate bring all of the old materials (doors, extra floorboards railing posts, windows, sinks etc. here instead of dumping them. You can buy retro on the cheep. Perfect for DIYers who need random materials but are flexible. Everything is super well priced. My one regret at moving to Ottawa is I'm now farther away from this store! <3

    REAL DEAL ... the secret of the best &quot;thrifters&quot;

    REAL DEAL ... their mission is to keep as much useable stuff out of landfill as possible... and they do a great job. In a warehouse setting, they display and sell all sorts of household goods and collectables ( china, wooden furniture, toys, books) and they also feature all sorts of hardware and home reno goods... lighting, tiling, doors ... you name it ... small screws or just what you need for that closet. And the prices are fabulous. Only open Thurs, Fri & Sat during the day. Heres a photo of a glass lamp shades that I recently bought there
