I am so grateful to Dr. DaCosta, I have been going to him for 40 years. I was on the verge of a breakdown. After seeing him I started feeling better and from then on he has been my primary physician. My children grew up with Dr. Da Costa Reis as their primary physician. As a result, they never had to take antibiotics for their childhood ailments, and were always cared for with his loving expertise. Throughout the past 40 years each member of my family has continued to benefit from the impeccable care and wisdom of this incredibly gifted doctor and human being. He's generous with those who are in need, though he humbly downplays this aspect of his practice. He has my complete trust.

I have been to 8 naturopaths in toronto. I have now been seeing Jose for 5 years now and He has healed me. I was bedridden and now am able to walk, run exercise and have children. I can never be able to repay him. Best doctor I have ever met and worth every penny.

Very disappointed

I will never come here again, due to the following brief summaries of my experiences in this office... 1. Unprofessional My daughter had a severe respiratory disease. After the initial consultation, I was assured she would improve with treatment and without medication. After months and over $4500 worth of payments, and only after I expressed my frustration at my daughter's complete lack of progress, he admitted that he didn't know what to do after the first few months. He was trying random holistic treatments not knowing if they would have any positive results for my daughter's particular case. Very unprofessional for a so-called 'experienced' practitioner. 2. Very expensive - Initial consultation fee - almost $1000(yes, you read that right) - 15-20 min appointment fee -$200+tax - Supplements - You will receive bags full of juices, pills, drops, supplements, teas, etc after every visit - Minimum $250 each visit in addition to the appointment fee 3. Excessively long waiting times My daughter and I were forced to wait a minimum of 1-2 hours before every appointment. Most of the appointment was him preaching his spiritual values and philosophies to my daughter. I'm not sure I understood the purpose of this as it had nothing to do with treatment. He didn't even start to diagnosis my daughter's progress(or lack thereof) or give any recommendations until the very end. Dr. Da Costa seems like a kind, intelligent man. But this office was a complete waste of my time and money. If you do decide to see him, I sincerely hope your experience does not mirror mine. Please be careful not to be manipulated like I was.
