Montana's invites you to their establishment. This eatery features steaks for 11$ to 25$. Their atmosphere has been described as casual. They are readily accessible by car but also by public transit. The neighboring area is remarkable for its parks and restaurants.
I am less than impressed with this establishment. Showed up around 6 pm with a group of 4 to an empty restaurant. The staff told us they were expecting a large party and that we would have to wait 1-1.5 hours for our food...when the party was not even there yet. We opted to go somewhere else as we were thoroughly unimpressed by the (lack of) service provided.
Years ago we visited this restaurant and had one of the WORST dining experiences...we decided (after a 5 year hiatus) to return, this time with our toddler. It would appear nothing has changed. The food is terrible, the service is terrible and it appeared to be a social club for the staff. Impossible to get anyone's attention and our waiter seemed less than interested in us and spent ALL of his time chatting with the hostesses at the front. Not the family place they claim to be, too dark and loud...we were there around 6 pm and it felt like a night club!

Food was excellent, had unlimited rib special and the food kept on coming.
We will be going back.
