For the last ten years I've been doing geriatric dentistry on a mobile basis throughout the province. I would go to various nursing homes, hospitals, private residences and do their dentistry for them. After a while I thought to myself, what a great idea it would be to set up a specific clinic designed specially for geriatric or special-needs patients that don't have easy access to proper dental care. There is a real need for this specific type of dentistry, as there are a growing number of seniors that can't access dental service. They don't have the dexterity.
