Herback joined the board in 2012 after being nominated by Swim Saskatchewan Inc. Herback has served on the Audit, Aboriginal Sport Leadership Council, District Strategic, Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan Management,KidSportTM and Sport (Chair) Committees. Prior to joining the board, Herback was President of Swim Saskatchewan Inc. and a member of the organization's strategic planning committee.
