Located in the Kingsway and Victoria Avenue area of Vancouver, Vegan Pizza House has been serving delicious pizzas, pastas and salads since 2011. Owner and head cook Jim Hoang, a vegan himself, has done extensive research on the vegan diet to develop his all-vegan menu. “Vegans are so excited to find us,” he says.
Jim has worked in kitchens and restaurants for over 20 years. He has cooked in Greek and Italian restaurants, researched and written menus and recipes, and taught many budding chefs. Noting that there are very few true vegan restaurants in the city, and encouraged by his family and friends, Jim opened the very first Vegan Pizza House in April 2011.
