cest un endroit magique ou service ,convivialité et gastronomie se cotoient aisément .bravo a tous
Good atmosphere a little bit noisy for a date night but it is really good for what it is.
A lovely french bistro. Great food and atmosphere.
Fresh ingredients, classic French dishes well prepared, good service for a French bistro and a nice selection of wines.
food is very good. love the beef tartar, probably one of the best.
This is a tiny perfect bistro in the best French Canadian tradition. It is a small place with tables tightly packed, but oh... the food! The soupe aux poissons (fish soup) was so good I wanted to weep. It was truly among the best soups I've ever had. Delicious black cod with roasted potatoes as well. It's a crowded little spot with excellent service but you definitely need a reservation. I'll be back!
Typique.

A classic like L’Express in the Plateau is perfect for Mother’s Day. This Montreal institution has stood the test of time – their jar of gherkins waiting on your table is classic L’Express, as is their dishes, which haven’t changed much since this Parisian bistro opened in 1980. Their veal and mushroom ravioli remains a signature dish, as well as their onglet steak with shallot butter, and please don’t forget their steak tartare, prepared exactly like it would be in France.

Modeled after a bistro in Paris, dinner at L’Express is tried, tested and true. Their steak tartare and onglet steak with shallot butter are well known all over the city. And their veal and mushroom ravioli is a bit of heaven in your mouth. Stick to a classic like L’Express!
