We are located in the Genesis Place Recreation Centre, just east off of Highway 2 in Airdrie, a bedroom community just 10 minutes north of Calgary. The clinic can be found only a few steps inside the north entrance. Parking is free at the recreation centre.
Our services
Lifemark Sport Medicine Genesis Place in Airdrie is a multi-disciplinary health care clinic. Our highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists, Occupational Therapist, Sports Medicine Physician and trained staff will provide you with a customized and holistic treatment plan that best meets your helath care needs and goals.
Our Health Care Team will work together to provide you with the highest level of care. With focused communication and collaboration within our team, we can assess and treat you for most sport injuries, workplace injuries, injuries following a motor vehichle accident and/or any surgical/fracture recovery protocols. Our philosopy is "Movement is medicine" and our goal is to see you recover and get back to all the things your enjoy doing in your life.
Lifemark Sport Medicine Genesis Place is just a few steps inside the north end of Genesis Place Recreation Centre. There is plenty of free parking around the building. The Clinic has a treatment area with 12 treatment beds for physiotherapy, two rooms for massage therapy, and 2 private rooms for Occupational Therapy, vestibular/concussion therapy and Pelvic Health. Vidar Sport Medicine is our in-house Sport Medicine Doctor's clinic. Our exercise gym is well equipped with stationary bikes, a treadmill, free weights, a shuttle machine, and functional testing equipment. There is an area and equipment designated for Hand Therapy.
Whether you are an athlete, recreational warrior, or just need help with a nagging injury, our clinic is a one-stop multi-disciplinary health care clinic to service your rehabilitation needs.

Aside from our core services, we also offer specialized programs including certified hand therapy, occcupational therapy, pelvic health rehabilitation, concussion management, vestibular therapists for balance and dizziness issues and functional capacity evaluations and work-place testing.
We also offer orthotics and bracing (custom and off-the-shelf), which are developed with an assessment of your lower extremities, gait analysis, and footwear evaluation, and can be used to relieve pain in the foot, knee, leg, and low back. Orthotics can also treat orthopaedic injuries, re-align anatomical structures, and improve your balance. Similarly, our braces can be custom-fitted or pre-fab, and can be used for injury prevention or recovery. Bracing can protect, stabilize, and even address abnormal joint alignment.
