Well, this is crazy. Businesses have 22 days to adjust their systems to not charge GST on "holiday essentials". If you are thinking of buying books or a Christmas tree, you may want to wait until December 14. If you plan on stocking up your booze cabinet, its going to be 5% cheaper.
