Best places to grab a brew in Vancouver’s Marpole
Marpole may be a bit removed from the rest of Vancouver’s busy nightlife scene, but there’s still plenty of action happening down by the Fraser River. Milltown Bar & Grill

The patio views are as breathtaking as Milltown’s reclaimed Douglas Fir interior decor is rustic. The drink menu is likewise rugged and refined, meaning you could just as easily cue up a bold Okanagan Spring lager on tap as you could a crisp and fruity local riesling.
The Yard Cafe

The small-ish room is big on value, from $3.50 sleeves at happy hour to live local singer-songwriters premiering new tunes.
Cravings Bistro

Dogwood Brewing Ltd

Situated on the Fraser River by YVR’s South Terminal, the waterside location offers plenty of idyllic views of floatplanes and local wildlife. Craft brew fans will likewise be in awe of the number of B.C. beers on tap. Considering the spot is a little off-grid from regular transit and taxi routes, note that The Flying Beaver offers a complimentary shuttle service to those staying for more than a round.
