I love this place! I have tried everything from the teriyakis to the udon to the maki and its awesome across the board. I have been a customer since they first opened over ten years ago and the service is excellent as well. The owner is a joy to be around and makes her customers feel special (she definitely recognizes her frequent customers too which is a nice touch). I highly recommend this place. Read more

This is a great Japanese restaurant, been there a couple of times and just two days ago brought two of my Australian friends to try the Tappenaki lunch. They were really very impressed by the food and the service especially the chef who was very entertaining doing the onion volcano and the egg cracking. Will definitely continue to go for meals. Even if you are not into sushi, it is worth a trip to Kakemono! My boyfriend LOVES sushi and although I don't mind it, it is not my favourite meal in the world. However, I love Teriyaki and the Teriyaki dishes on Kakemono's all you can eat menu are wonderful. The prices are reasonable when compared to the price you may for most all-you-can-eat places and the food was great. We will be going back in the near future! Read more

I have been visiting Sushi Mountain for just over 2 years now and I have never had fresher sushi anywhere in Toronto. My husband and I love going for their all you can eat option, which at other places usually isn't so great. I find the white tuna at SM to be some of the best I've ever had (I was very disappointed with my experience in Yorkville after visitng SM). Their tempura has always been fresh and crisp, the handrolls are usually packed with fresh fish and their sushi and sashimi are always freshly made and really flavourful. I've never experienced some of the things that other reviewers have mentioned like bad mayo, etc... The restaurant is usually very quiet even when it is packed with people. The service is fine and the restaurant is typically very clean. There is lots of parking as it is in a strip mall and usually no line up. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't yet. Read more

Today was my first visit to Hockey Sushi. I was more than impressed! The service was FAST, and they food was amazing. So much variety. The concept of this buffet so so unique, but it makes so much sense! Everyone can get what they want, with little to now waste, and no contamination from other guests. The idea of ordering with the iPad is awesome! It was nice to see the food I was ordering, easy to read descriptions, and an easy to use system. Read more
