My piece of fish was huge and I had lots of tartar sauce to go with it. I didn't run out. I love the fries. They are just like the ones that my mom used to make. I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot. Sure you can eat meatloaf at a number of places but I bet you can’t beat having a more delicious one at Montana’s in Hyde Park. Read more

I highly recommend Kipps Lane Fish n Chips! I was hard pressed to find a classic fish n chip joint such as I had adored as a teen in Toronto in the mid 1970s.
