The environment is your typical Chinese restaurant but the only reason you would go there is the food. The V.I.P. fried chicken is one of the, if not, the best fried chicken you ever ate in your life. It's crunchy and juicy, leaving you the feeling of wanting more. If you've never had Peking duck before, ask for the duck with 3 preparations. You will get a duck soup, the peking duck which is rice crepes wrapped with duck skin and then, the last preparation is with the duck meat. It's a stir fry of duck meat with veggies. The food is amazing. Portions are considered large comparing to the average Montreal French bistro. Good place for a date. Also good atmosphere for a small 5a7 (there is a large long table for 10-12pp at the back near the bar). The only negative is that the service is average. The waitress is not that attentive or customer-centric. For example, she would list the daily special without mentioning the prices, unless prompted. Such customer service basic is lacking with the wait staff. Read more
