I`ve been to a couple of Rosie`s around Edmonton. But, the one located on 80th avenue in old strathcona was just amazing!! The food was excellent, great value and great food. The salmon was to die for!! The burgers are real, and huge!! The eggs benny was made with home-made hollandaise sauce, the food was just great!! Not only the food, but the staff was great as well. Two young ladies were working with a great sense of humor that made our experience even more enjoyable. Although they were a little busy, food came out fast and the servers were on the ball. Tried this place out with my mom for her Birthday dinner and we both enjoyed our meals. Nice drink combinations too. Came back with a friend and a Groupon, but I made a mistake about reading the fine print amd they were sincerely gracious when I was paying the bill. It was appreciated. My husband and I went for lunch on a Wednesday. There were quite a few customers enjoying their meal. The 1/4 chicken dinner was delicious. Home made fries (not frozen), a fresh Italian style roll, and Swiss Chalet dipping sauce., and of course, the rotisserie chicken. Good Canadian food at it’s best! Not too spicy, with lots of flavour. Very satisfying. And did I mention the friendly service? The owner even came to our table to ensure we were well taken care of. Halibut is also excellent.! Read more
