We ordered the Beef tenderloin crostini, pork belly, baby back ribs, and black cod. The pork belly was the crispest and least fatty that I've ever had, it was spectacular. The flavors on the crostini were very good, the cherry chutney and dijon aioli went very well together. And the ribs... much better than any I've had at a Ribfest. My GF said the black cod was the tastiest fish she had ever had. The ambiance is nice cottage country, the dining room intimate with only four tables. A definite repeat!.

Dropped in for lunch this week and was very pleasantly surprised to find this calibre of Japanese food in Peterborough. Excellent food. Very authentic. So much so it helps to be familiar with Japanese food before ordering (staff speak very little English). Fixed price for as much as you want on the menu. However a note on menu says you will be charged for what you don't eat. I thought that was an inspired way to prevent the waste usually associated with all you can eat restaurants. A little pricy but you certainly get your money's worth. Looking forward to a return visit for dinner.

I have been going here for years and the food has been always good. I have never received bad service. The service is average but never bad.
Everything is fresh and tasty. Our favourites are Dynamite roll, Volcano Roll, Bonsai Roll to name a few..

Some food was a little salty but the portion sizes are generous. Too much batter on tempura items. The menu is Canadianized as are most Chinese restaurants but I found they have more items to choose from. The Specials that they have for Families of 4 or 5 are pretty decent. Fast service and a convenient location with easily accessible parking.

All homemade food using fresh ingredients. I loved that the sauces (especially the sweet and sour) are not commercially made. Also, loved that the vegetables were crisp. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. My family of 4 went with our friends (family of 3) and they allowed us to rearrange the tables so we could all sit together. We have 2 growing teenage boys and dont typically have much leftovers but left here with 2 very full takeout containers from the dinner for 4. Will be back

I have been dining at I sushi frequently over the last few month and enjoy it thoroughly each time. The facilities are clean. The food is fresh, delicious and serving sizes (main dishes) are great for sharing with a friend. The hostess, Gina is very personable, welcoming; has a good knowledge of the menu choices. Went to DC with the child for open house and decided to look for lunch on the way to 401. We passed it and turned back as we didn't want fast food. It's a tiny place with 2 tables and 4 rickety chairs but we are happy we stopped there. The girl (owner's daughter it turns out) behind the counter was sweet and efficient. She made us 4 samosas & 4 shawarmas that were delicious and filling. The owner provided 2 free bottles of water for our 1st time there as well as a orange drink for the two guys ahead of us, also their 1st time. Friendly, fun and good food too. We put the tables together and had an excellent lunch. There's just no elegant way to eat shawarmas so you need lots of napkins. Wouldn't want to eat there in the winter as it probably gets quite cold in there.

I went the other day with a couple of friends and I have to say it was a nice cozy place to spend the day with a couple of friends. The sushi was tasty, the service was great. They were so polite and friendly.
To the person below, this is Canada. Not Japan or anywhere else in Asia, where their specialties are Asian food. Also didn't help the fact you had high expectations going in which could have affected your overall impression. "Worst sushi" is not something I would use for this restaurant.
I definitely recommend it for a night out with your friends and family or even just a lunch with a friend.
