A party of 3 international travellers were seated at one of the many small quaint tables. The decor resembled that of both Thai and Indian, as did the menus. There were 2 other small parties seated but did not disrupt our experience.
Service was immediate and very polite. Beverages were served first and promptly. The wait between entrees and the main course was a little longer than common.
The food was edible but not as refined as I would have liked. Tandoori chicken was a little too burnt. Green Curry seemed watery and lacked substance. Chicken masala did not have as much flavor as most. The garlic naan was delicious, moist and crispy. Mango Lassis were perfect. Saffron rice was light and fluffy.
This place paid close attention to details with respect to the presentation of the food, prompt service, ambiance and environment. This raised my overall score.

To be honest, I don't think I have anything really negative to say about this restaurant. We visited for lunch on a Sunday, and were the first people in the restaurant. As a party of seven, we were seated at an assembled table right by the bar near the front of the restaurant.
From what I can recall, we ordered the Manchurian Chicken, Chili Chicken (dry), mixed vegetables, butter chicken, and chicken chow mein - looking back, yes that was a lot of chicken - and it was all rather delicious.

Hands down the BEST Indian joint I have tried... butter chicken was jam packed full of flaviour and had the perfect amount of spice and spices (not Americanized at all). Passed by a few times and wanted to do take out. Decided to give it a go with the girlfriend. All I can say is WOW. Was recommended Marinated Lamb chops which was served on a sizzling plate, we both devoured it. The shrimp biryani was also great along with the Chicken Boona was very flavorful and a spicy kick . To finish of with their delicious signature Kulfi which was a great end to the meal along with the Masala Tea, Tea took time to prepare but was well worth the wait, The staff were very friendly and courteous overall nice ambience.

This tiny place is right across from the Reverb on Queen. It's open late and great for after-bar food... I did give service a nine only because the line is usually out the door! Hot, Yummy falafel (or donair i think if you like). Just a warning though, this place is TINY and the menu is not that big from what I remember. If there were other categories like atmosphere and stuff I'd have to rate this place poorly. It's pretty much takeout only.
Always good though!!! If you're hungry and near queen and bathurst give it a try :)

They have a small, but good variety of dishes from butter chicken, lamb, vegetarian plates and fantastic naan. Their prices range from $9 (lunch plates) to $16 (dinner plates). I am addicted to Indian food. I've been to just about every Indian restaurant in T.O. Without reservation ( pardon the pun ) I can say that this place is at the top of my list. Not only is the food fantastic but the price is an unbelievable 10 dollars for lunch and 12 for dinner. ALL YOU CAN EAT. You can order specialty dishes from the kitchen but the buffet has so many selections that you don't need to. Superb, fresh made naan and as many poppadums as you want are included in the price as well as desert. You just can't beat it.
I discovered this place about 3 years ago and since then I have been going once a week, every week. No kidding, it's THAT good. Not once have I been disappointed.
If you like butter chicken you'll die when you taste theirs.

Last weekend we were at a friend's house in Mississauga, small birthday party about 22 people with few kids. The host family took us to Bollywood Unlimited for a desert after food. It was an excellent idea. Adults enjoyed there Malai Kulfi & Nutty Kulfi while kids loved the Mango one. After that we all had paans. I think the expense came out to be about $3.00 per person & it was the best way to finish the party. Everybody took a leave from there only & for last few days we are still discussing this experience with our friends over the phone. I would love to finish a party at my home the same way so people can remember it for days to come.
