My husband and I were excited to learn that they offered dim sum on weekends and we were not disappointed when we went last Saturday. The items we ordered were served quickly, they were hot and most were really tasty. The only thing neither of us really cared for was the BBQ pork buns - which weren't bad, we just found them to be a little too sweet. I recommend the fried "triangle" pork dumplings, they were especially delicious! The atmosphere isn't great but it isn't terrible. I actually appreciated that there was some effort put into the decor (the kimonos as curtains on the booths were a nice touch) but the pine tree air fresheners were a little out of place. The prices were very reasonable, we ate well and left satisfied for $20 (tax and tip in). We'll definitely try their other dishes, and look forward to returning for dim sum. Read more

Passing through today with my wife and daughter, hungry so we stopped in. Service was prompt, and actually involved 3 people! I had the pickerel platter (had to prevent myself from saying "It's actually called walleye!"), wife had poutine, and daughter had the soup of the day, hamburger vegetable, and chicken burger. All agreed that it was good. Decor was interesting, and washrooms were very clean. Jake's is currently up for sale; it will be interesting to see what happens here, as the place seems to be a bit of an institution, having been run by the same ownership since 1969. Read more

I stopped in expecting a little diner where I could get a spaghetti and meat balls. I was surprised to find that Danny's is a lot more than that, a fine dining experience right alongside the highway. Service was prompt and pleasant, the linguini was superb, and the surroundings were very nice. Worth every penny! Read more

My sister and I wanted to take my parents somewhere nice for breakfast and decided on Casey''s. Our server was *****. I have had her before and she is great alway friendly and accomadating. My parents loved her. We informed ****** it was my parent''s anniversary and she came out with a piece of cake and a nice song. We told her some of the brunch items were cold and she immediately replaced them for us. She went the extra mile and made my parents anniversary special.
