My husband and I snuck in before a Knight's game and were able to get a table right away even though it was packed. The singing mushrooms were incredible and I'd go back just for them. The service was great. Our waiter was very pleasant to talk to and he was quick bringing our order out.

We were in the mood for something different, a place with a patio and music but not a place where you weren't able to move or order anything without waiting in line. We made a good choice in going to Fitzrays. We all tried something different and everyone was happy with their food (apparently the veggie burger is outstanding, i am a meatalohic though so i'll take her word for that one). The staff was very attentive and got everything right, and made sure we always had a full beverage. There was some guy playing guitar - Graham something - who was very good and not too loud. We may end up going here every Friday in the summer.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST VISIT BUT WE HEARD SO MANY GOOD THINGS WE HAD OUR HOPES HIGH. THE STAFF WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND VERY ATTENTIVE. THE FRESH ROLLS WERE SUPER FRESH -- CRISP AND SERVED WITH 3 DIPPING SAUCES (AS A TREAT!) THE MANGO SALADS WAS FULL OF FLAVOUR BUT SMALL. THE SWEET AND SOUR STIRFRY WAS PERFECT BUT ONLY 6 SHRIMP?! THE YELLOW CURRY WAS A BEAUTIFUL BLEND OF FLAVOURS AND THE JASMINE RICE -- TO DIE FOR! THE SERVINGS WERE ALL SMALL IN COMPARISON TO NORMAL RESTAURANT FEASTS BUT VERY WELL PRESENTED AND COOKED TO ORDER! DESSERTS WERE YUMMY -- COCONUT ICE CREAM AND FRIED ICE CREAM WERE A DELIGHT. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE PRICE CONSIDERING THE PORTIONS WERE NOT THAT LARGE -- THE QUALITY HOWEVER WAS WORTH IT!

I'm german/hungarian and I loved this place!
Such good schnitzel, great spaezle, dumplings, red cabbage, saurkraut, and even a wonderful apricot crepe for dessert!
The servers are very welcoming, and the decor is a charming old-style of germanic pub. Very romantic!

I mentioned that there are many places to dine and thought they would like the business of a family of 8 on a sat 4:30pm. Her response oh no, we will be busy tonight anyway. I took my husband out for dinner last night, to celebrate his birthday. It was our first visit to David's and we were both impressed.
First, I want to commend the great service we received. We were looked after in a timely, and polite manor. Our server was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and wines.
We only ordered entrees, as we aren't big eaters and find restaurant portions fill us quickly. He ordered the chicken and wow -- the bacon sauce was fantastic. I kept trying to steal it of his plate. I ordered the filet mignon, and it was cooked to perfection. My gnocchi was light and tasty. But I will say that my sauce was a little bland in comparison to the bacon sauce. Not that there was anything wrong with my balsalmic/tarragon jus/with onions, it was good, but the bacon sauce would beat just about anything hands down.
My only constructive criticism would be that the pink/red walls are a little jarring and the awning out front could use a wash (covered in bird droppings).
So yeah - not much to complain about.
We'd definitely go again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend others try it out.

I get lunch at Nooners several times a week and have done so for at least 10 years (usually take-out). The food is always delicious - very fresh and homemade. Their soups and sandwiches are especially good (and the cookies....). I find the staff are always friendly, know regular customers by name (and their usual orders) and are very efficient despite the large number of people who are there for lunch every day. I do not think there is a lunch place anywhere else in London that can match Nooners for quality, speed and value.

Ive been to several sushi restaurants in London including Kawa, Wonder, etc. and Sushi Ya has hands down the best maki and nigiri I've had in the city. Lots and lots of options for rolls, doesn't stick to the bog standard, which seems to be one of the biggest issues for every other sushi restaurant in London. Creative and delicious combinations.
Fair prices, the box deals are a great value.
The couple that runs it are very pleasant and nice, plus its a really small place, pretty adorable stuff.
Highly recommended to all.
