African Breese Network Organization will be hosting SouthAfrican designer Malashnee Naidoo's'Madame Moje' on 19th September.Attending the event will be Robin Reighman & Mary Zilba from The Real Housewives of Vancouver.
For Mitch Breese, African Breese Specialty Foods is all about nostalgia: “Everything about the store takes me back to living in South Africa. Walking into the store is an incredible feeling.”
In 2000, Mitch immigrated to Canada from South Africa with his parents. In 2007, they bought an imported food shop. After several years of success, they opened a second location with Mitch as the manager.
Offering specialty South African food products, Mitch has built a solid customer base among Vancouver residents who hail from abroad and local foodies interested in trying something different.
“We offer a number of specialty teas and chocolates that people love. From chips and cookies to sauces, there’s something interesting and delicious for everyone,” he says.
