In Kusadasi, Eren met us at the ship with a van and took us to the House of the Virgin Mary and then to Ephesus. It was a fascinating experience, and so much more enjoyable with a knowledgeable tour guide! Eren explained everything along the way, and I highly recommend him. Private tours are so much better. They are worth every cent!
Frane was excellent: good guide, excellent english, and brilliant car! I have long awaited visiting Split and it certainly did not disappoint even though we had a on again off again rainy day. His scholarly approach was deep, and he presented so much more than just skimming the surface of the history and fascination of the area! I give Jose Alfonso (Sevilla) my highest recommendation. He was prompt, organized, thorough, highly knowledgeable, and unrushed. He was our private guide for the "Game of Thrones" tour. He not only showed us the scene locations and knew the stories behind the scenes, but was very informative about the general history of the locations as well. Wisely, he used a private driver, so pick-up and drop-off were easy!

In Slovenia - Vid was an excellent guide and driver. The tour was special to me as it was to retrace part of my Uncle's escape from a German POW camp in Maribor to where he was flown to Italy from a partisan airfield in Otok. The weather was wet, but arrangements had been made to be met by locals at three points to learn about the partisans, and this escape. Well done on a great day Vid.
The Best Guide Ever! We've had several guided trips in Italy. Fabrizio was so knowledgeable, had such a great sense of humour and was so patient answering questions of all sorts.Fabrizio is an excellent guide for Pompeii . I wish we'd booked him for other tours we took from our base in Sorrento.
Another bonus was that Fabrizio customized this trip for us and was extremely reasonable.
Maria in Quito is truly a wonderful tour guide.She is very knowledgeable on all aspects of history, art and culture of Ecuador. She was perfectly on time at pickup in our hotel lobby and used a good driver with a clean car to show us around. She is open to requests to tailor the visit to what interests the clients most. We had a wonderful stop in a boutique chocolate factory which made my day. This is truly a luxury service. I would definitely recommend her services for everything she can offer.
