Called to look for a quote for some work to be completed. This guy wasnt even interested in discussing the project. Said he is really busy right now. When I told him the work wouldnt proceed for a few months, he still wasnt interested. I am not sure how you can be successful by turning away potential clients?
called this company today on thanksgiving and even though they were booked up they helped me on the phone trouble shoot my problem more than most companies I called did for me . highly recommended
I had a sewage backup problem and called a well known company in dartmouth to rectify the issue. After two days & two plumbers I was told they couldn't fix the clog and that it was probubly a collapsed pipe but since they couldn't see it with there camera they don't know for sure, so I should dig up my yard and replace the whole line. I called Detect-all and over the phone Rob knew the issue. He had his tools on hand, was able to show me the clog and get the water flowing. Best in the buisness.
Called these folks as i had just been notified that my sewer was backed up. Indicated that they were booked for the next 'couple days'. When i inquired if they just do inspection or actually rectify the issues; he said: "it doesn't matter we can't do it" When i asked how much a camera inspection costs, he replied: "i'm not even going to tell you".

Robert is the best in the business!! I've been a service plumber for over 30 years and ever since sewer video inspections was introduced( 20 years ago ) I have used Robert (Detect-all) and he is very thorough and creative in problem solving. We have solved hundreds of problems together, including problems that the competitors can't resolve. I've had to use other inspection companies in the past( when Rob was in vacation) and they didn't come close to Rob's excellent experienced service.
Robert is excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable (if there was such a thing as a PhD in sewer management he would have it), responsive and overall great to work with. He was able to explain a not so straight forward problem in Lehmans terms and gave us suggestions that will solve our sewer problem. He also provided suggestions to save us money! The fact that he can provide an independent opinion is a big plus.
Robert was truly professional, and very thorough. I know not a thing about sewer line inspection but he explained everything in laymen terms and made sure I understood everything as we went along with the inspection. He made ample notes on the DVD copy of the inspection and made sure to go over everything with me again later. Like I said, he's incredibly professional and would highly recommend his services.
Inquired about getting an inspection on some pipe in my basement.
Call 1: The line went dead as I started talking. Not sure if Rob hung up on me but I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
Call 2: Got voicemail which included cell, so sent him a text with questions (price, availability). His response: "who is this?"
Call 3: He's super rude and tells me I called the month before and the price is the same. I have NO recollection of this and tell him I'm taking business elsewhere.
Rob was instrumental in finding the problem I was having with my septic system. He went out of his way to explain things in understandable terms and assist me when I was at a loss of what to do next. I am grateful for his outstanding service.
Professional, down to earth, and expert in field !
We originally told that we had a cross connection on our property. We had done some research and gathered background information and were not convinced this was the issue. However we had no real proof.
With the expertise of Detect-All we were able to video the sanitary lines from our house to the street. The video (along with Roberts’s excellent audio) explained in plain terms what was underground and was invaluable. The Detect-All video further supported that the connections on our property looked correct.
Now Detect-All could have stopped there and they would have done a very good job. But Robert from Detect-All went much, much further. He discussed in detail what we had seen in the video, reviewed the material I had already gathered regarding when my lot and the neighborhood were serviced. Then he took the time to educate me (in terms I could understand) on what we had seen in the video, and what was the likely cause.
As it turns out the issue was not on our property, and with the expertise of Detect-All we were able to prevent paying for an extremely costly fix (well into the 5 digits).
Thank you so much Detect-All and Robert!!! This fellow is professional, down to earth, and an expert in his field. Before this incident I did not even know this type of service existed. In the future I would pay the $ to have Detect-All video my sanitary and storm lines prior to buying another house. I recommend Detect-All and Robert highly!!!
