The Olive Press has quickly become my new "go-to" restaurant in the area. The food is amazing; the staff are incredibly nice and funny; the atmosphere is warm yet classy; and the prices are very reasonable.
I've been to the Olive Press 5 times now and have yet to try something that I haven't loved...Great pasta, great pizza, great appetizers, and great wings! My kids seem to love it as well (which is a nice change...finally something my wife and I like as well as the kids).
The owners seem to pull the entire experience together. Every time I have been to the Olive Press, they have passed by our table to comment on various menu items or ask us how our meal is.
Great food for the fam that doesn't seem to drain the bank - I'm worried I'm on track to become a regular!
I am a new yorker who loves italian food and this restaurant was recommended by a friend. so on our second day in toronto we would give it a try because some of the restaurants that were recommended where a poor example of italian food and very expensive. It was nice clean and cozy. I must say it was great food very nice portions great italian taste, but truly a great meal. This restaurant is truly a hiden treasure.
Couldn't be happier with our dining experience. The place is beautiful and the food even better. As big fans of Italian food and life-time residents of Oakville, my husband and I are so happy a restaurant serving quality food at a great value has finally opened here.
The wings were excellent, as was the veal and seafood medley. Probably one of the best house salads I've ever had - the dressing is just perfect and the bread was certainly not stale. 2 appetizers, 2 starter salads, 2 entrees, and wine - all delicious and for under $100 - can't go wrong. To top it off the wait-staff was young though attentive and very energetic. Will definitely be back again/soon!
We have a wonderful experience at the Olive Press. The decor is beautiful and welcoming! The service was prompt and the food was excellent! Well worth the money ... we will be back!
I was very excited to see a new restaurant come to the north end. It looks great from the outside. Too bad the food did not measure up!!
The owners are young and seem very inexperienced. I was very put off by one of the owners in particular. His unprofessionalism will surely be the demise of this restaurant. Service was okay, food was okay - nothing out of this world. Too bad. Eventually the novelty of this new restaurant will wear off.
