Better places in Peterborough

I used to go a least once every few weeks for a hot drink, or panini but after the rude service and long waits decided to look elsewhere.

I come to the bakery almost everyday. My company orders our restaurants bread from here. The girls are GREAT, and always sweet as pie! They go out of their way for me by saving me my fresh fruit cup.

Sometimes I stop in after a workout and grab a sandwich for lunch. The food and coffee are really good but some of the people that work there are a little on the cool side.

Now I go here all the time -- sometimes I pick up some baked goods. I really like their multigrain bagels and they also have nice pastries. Other times, I'll get their pre-made sandwiches -- veggie pesto, for example. They sell good coffee as well. I've never had bad service here and I find the staff are courteous. Maybe the other reviewer below caught them on a bad day. They sell products at the Peterborough Farmer's Market but their cafe is on Charlotte (between George and Louis).

The food is good, great when you want to grab a quick bite some really nice sweets there as well. One lady that works there I think she may actually be the owner is unfortunately very rude and temperamental but i have found the rest of the staff to be very nice. Definately worth a try.

It can very busy in the bakery, so service can be a little slow sometimes, but that is because the bakery is so great! The breads are out of this world. Wonderful! Highly recommend. You can pick up a quick munch too.
