horrible customer service
Picked up take out for 4 people (3 dishes). Placed my order at 7pm and was told it would take 20 minutes. Showed up at 7:20, payed and was told it would be a few minutes. At 7:45 checked with an employee who said it would be a few more minutes. I had company coming over at 8:30 so again followed up at 7:55. Told the employee it was unacceptable and if they had been honest when placing the order I could have chosen not to order. Asked to speak to a manager who apologized. When I told her that her workers should have just been honest rather than constantly telling me "it's next", :"just a few more minutes" I would have not been as bitter. Food finally came out at 8:05 and the dishes that I requested had no onion were loaded with onion. Manager again apologized. At this point she offered free chicken pakoras (my order was vegetarian)...when I declined and asked her to refund a dish she said "I'll take care of it". She came back and handed me $3 and a can of coke. I will NEVER be back to this restaurant. It's quite sad since the food is quite good, however the lack of customer service and the ability of the manager to handle the situation makes me want to never return. Over such a simple situation for the owner to handle they have lost a customer and every one else I have shared my experience with. I understand it's new years eve and places are busy. Many others were extremely angry and yelling, one other customer asked for his money back and left after waiting 40 minutes. Just be honest over the phone, don't rush a customer when taking an order and all of this could be avoided!
