It was by far the best South Indian Food I have had in both Canada and the States. The restaurant is a branch of a famous Chettinad restaurant chain in Chennai, South India. The taste is very similar to the flagship restaurant (eaten there as well). As a south Indian, I can say that Anjappar accurately represents authentic South Indian food. The food was unbelievable. There can not be a single complaint as far as the quality of the food. It tasted amazing and I recommended that you definitely try it.

We've eaten at this Restaurant several times, I'm not suprised this place is so busy, the food is delicious and spicy, the staff are friendly and pleasant.
I don't thnk there is anything on the menu that we have not tried at least once.
Prices are so reasonable, we always order way too much (at least I have a good lunch the next day). Dinner for two of us has never been over $50 - with a couple of drinks each
The only negative comment I have is about bones, please make everything boneless.
What this restaurant lacks in atmosphere, it makes up with food and service. It's traditional South Indian which means it's authentically hot and that's what we enjoy. We've been about 8 times over the past 3 months, and haven't had a bad dish yet.
