Roof Top Patio

Love the roof-top patio at this place- very busy with the after-work crowd- a great mix of people to wind down the work day. Food is also good- drinks are better.

Where to grab post-game pints with the team in Toronto

Where to grab post-game pints with the team in Toronto

Despite being located right in the mix of posh Yorkville, The Pilot Tavern is far from pretentious. This chill three-storey venue is legendary for attracting young professionals who want to partake in Yorkville’s happy hour scene and still make next month’s rent. After that big W, your team will want to hit up the rooftop patio. With a capacity of 185, there’s a good chance you’ll score a seat, even on a buzzing summer night. And don’t worry, you can even leave your cleats on.

Yorkville spots for sipping beers and spotting celebs

Yorkville spots for sipping beers and spotting celebs

Named to recognize heroic RCAF flyers in World War II, The Pilot is part of Yorkville’s bones. It opened at its currently Cumberland Street location in 1972 but was originally established in 1944. The bar offers three unique dining environments: the main floor is a classic bar, the second floor (aka The Stealth Lounge) offers a vintage feel with a stage for live jazz acts and the rooftop patio (aka The Flight Deck) lets you take in some refreshing night air.
