This is the BEST indian food in KW. The curry's are to die for and the nan is the best i've had anywhere in ontario...perfect for dragging through the sweet and spicy curry sauces. and the raita has slices of crunchy fresh cucumber in it- so perfect for cooling your mouth down if you've had something spicy. i will go here again and again!
I've been eating at Kismet since it opened and have gone back many times. Quite simply, it is the best Indian food (Kismet is actually authentic Bangladeshi food) I've ever had - and I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in both Canada and the U.S. (the Indian restaurants in the U.S., by the way, are uniformly disappointing to say the least).
The balance of spices, the preparation, quality, and taste of the food here is outstanding. This is South Asian halal food at its very finest. I have never been disappointed with the food here. I doubt even the Mughal emperors of India in the 17th century had cuisine this good.
Finally, the owner and his family are very courteous, pleasant, and attentive. I know them personally and can honestly say that they take great care of their customers. The service is simply excellent, which makes eating the food that much better.
