Buena Vista Kennels (1979) Inc

I have 2 medium/large breed dogs. I had to rush to find a kennel due to another one cancelling on me last minute. My dogs were kept the entire 3 days in a kennel! Not ever let out to use the washroom, expected to use their kennel space to do their business, two of them in a kennel. They both had issues after their stay. What kind of people can run a kennel and feel good about never walking a dog? 140.00 later and multiple baths to rid them of stuck on feces!! Never again. Not credible!

We will be using this kennel for our dogs anytime we leave. Always happy with there service.

My dog came back ...

My dog came back home sick, frightened, hungry and not able to step on one of her paws. Kennels are tiny, dark, and wet due to being washed with garden hose. She didn't even bother to take dogs out, she just spray them with water, my husband witnessed that when he was picking our pets up. The dog was suffering from diarrhea, which cause by dehydration, according to our doctor.The dog was acting scared every time when I was passing by carrying something, she didn't before.

Never Again.

I will never leave our dogs at this place again. I picked up our two scotties from their kennel only to find them in a dark unlit kennel. The kennel was damp and dingy. Their dog bed was damp and folded in half on top of a raise board. The two dogs were laying on top of the bedding to keep off the wet floor. Their toys were all wet. Both dogs smelled when I got them. Both dogs were upset and out of sorts. Never again.

INHUMANE CONDITIONS, STAY AWAY!!!‎

The cat room reeks of urine and dander. There was even vomit on the floor! They allowed another cat to use my carrier as a litter box!!! If that's not bad enough, they didn't even know about it until I said something: that means they aren't checking on the cats properly, nor are they cleaning up after them. The room temperature was 13C when I picked up my cats. I was freezing in there. One of my cats was hiding under the refrigerator for warmth and she was still cold. When I dropped off my cats, the owner rushed me out the door and discouraged me from saying goodbye and getting them settled in, because he had to go on a trip to Texas. When I picked them up, I had to wait 15 minutes just for someone to come meet me. When we discovered the cat urine in my carrier, she cleaned it out with strong smelling chemicals, and then I was supposed to put my cat back in those fumes? I only brought my cats here for one night, because we had an exterminator coming to spray poison. They would have been better off in their carriers in the car for the night! I promised my cats I would never ever bring them back. Please learn from my mistake and STAY AWAY!!!
